Friday October 19th at approximately 6:15 PM, MCSO Deputies and Golden Valley Firefighters responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Centennial Road near Geronimo Road where a sandrail type vehicle appeared to have hit a deep wash in the roadway, possibly created from recent rains, and flipped. According to Battalion Chief David Martin, there were two occupants in the vehicle when it rolled, ejecting and pinning one man under the vehicle. The approximately 53 year old man pinned under the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene by Golden Valley Paramedics. The other occupant, a male about 56 years of age, was transported to KRMC for non life-threatening injuries sustained in the accident. MSCO Deputies remained on scene for over an hour while the investigation was completed, blocking the roadway for the entire time. The names of the occupants have not been released as of this press release.
