Tuesday morning about 9:50 AM, Golden Valley Firefighters happened upon a fully involved car fire while en route a non-emergency call when they saw heavy black smoke north of their location on Chino Road. The fire was located on Santa Cruz Road just North of Chino in a sandy wash area and involved a mid 80’s Honda Accord, which was fully involved prior to the arrival of the firefighters. There were two vehicles on scene; both had been reported stolen out of the Kingman area according to MCSO deputies.
